The most successful recipes are very simple: in the case of the XSR900 it's a fabulous engine, quality materials and sublime real-world performance. Of course out on the open road, you're going to need a bit of wind protection. The Dart flyscreen will give you just that, with styling that truly complements the bike!

XSR900 Dark Tint FlyScreen

I purchased the dark tint, and it unbelievably changes the look of the bike with such a small addition, I am glad I was able to find it because there isn’t another outfit here in the United States with one specifically designed for the bike, so I feel like it’s one of a kind !
LOL!

Just Perfect

There are several cowl / windscreen options out there, but I chose the Dart Flyscreen because it’s just the right size. I didn’t want to give my XSR 900 the cruiser look with a lager windscreen. After all, the XSR 900 isn’t a “cruiser” style bike. I also didn’t want something that just barely covers the instruments. Some of those look nice sure enough, but offer nothing in the way of wind protection.

The Dart Flyscreen hits the sweet spot by adding just the right amount of wind protection without being too obtrusive. I heard reviews claiming it creates undue buffeting around your head, but that hasn’t been the case for me. I still feel wind buffet at highway speeds, but it’s not as fatiguing as before the install. It certainly does what I expected it to do considering its size.

It’s a definite win in the looks department for sure. I’ve had many compliments since installing it. It changed the look of my bike in such a positive way that I would keep it on even if there were no wind protection.

Very happy overall.

Install on my 23 XSR900 was pretty simple. I appreciate the quality of the parts including the rubber gaskets for the windscreen screws. Overall it does what I need it to do and that’s alleviate wind pressure off my chest on the highway. Definitely recommend this!

The screen seems very well made. High quality. Simple yet very strong brackets to attach the screen. I can remove the screen if needed in less than a minute.

Although the screen is not adjustable, I think that might compromise the strength. To adjust tilt it's very simple on my bike, '23 Yamaha XSR900

Love it that this is made in England and not China. The quality and craftsmanship shows.
